Many for-profit companies are increasingly using membership as part of their customer relationship efforts. Forging a tighter connection between the company (and its products/services) and the customer through a membership is proving to be profitable and paramount to survivability, especially in a softer economy. So while associations have previously been regarded as the membership guru; our status is slowly being eroded.
So what is so different about how for-profit companies approach membership? In most cases, the answer is marketing.
So what can associations, especially small associations who just don’t have the resources (or so they think), do to create an effective marketing plan? Join us for this insightful presentation and walk away with practical, “ready-to-wear” tips and methods for improving (or in some cases creating) a marketing strategy for your association.
At this month's meeting, we will be collecting donations for the AzSAE Charity of the Year: Lost Our Home Pet Foundation. Please bring cat food or pet store gift cards to donate to our charity.
These member luncheon programs lead off with an insightful presentation by an authority on the featured topic, and then participants at each table network and discuss their own challenges around the issue, sharing ideas and solutions. Programs qualify for CAE credit.
